Class Year

Started attending the Boychoir in Mar 1956, and finished Jun 1959. (Might be off by a year).

Graduated from Chadron High School in 1963.

Went to the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy in 1967.

I also received MS degrees in Applied Mathematics (Numerical Science), Physics & Astronomy.

Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army at graduation, went to Infantry Officer’s School followed by Counter-intelligence school. Sent of Vietnam, received a bronze star and outstanding unit citation.

After Vietnam, the Army sent me to a think tank for about three years, receiving an Army Commendation medal.

Left the army, and worked as a systems analyst until the Army recalled me back to active duty. Went to advanced intelligence officer school, cryptologic and electronic warfare school, followed by a company command of a combat intelligence company, receiving a meritorious service medal.

After command, the next three years I served on the staff and faculty at the United States Military Academy receiving my second Army Commendation Medal.

From there, I became the Executing and Operations of a US Army Field station and received a second Meritorious Service Medal, and my operation was commended by President Carter, the unit receiving a presidential citation for our contributions to US intelligence.

Following that assignment, I worked for the Joint Chief of Staff as an EW Officer, and received the Joint Meritorious Medal.

After my Army Service I taught Computer Science, Math, Physics and Astronomy at the undergraduate level.

At this point, I departed the Army for civilian duties.

I am married, two children, and five grand children.

I am fully retired, with 100% disabilities due to exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.

Currently live in Ewa Beach, Hawaii with my wife.
